Broken sprinkler line? Here are the steps on how to fix a cut sprinkler line DIY. Be careful if you choose to tackle this job yourself. You will be working with sharp tools and possibly chemicals that require extreme care.

Turn off the water supply to the sprinkler system.
Locate the cut in the line.
Dig up the area around the cut to expose the pipe.
Cut out the damaged section of pipe.
Clean the ends of the pipe.
Insert a slip coupling or telescopic repair coupling between the two ends of the pipe or use a plumbing couple and pvc primer and glue to mend the repair.
Allow time for the repair to dry and then test your repair.
Backfill the hole and you're done.
